Hello. I am 14 years old. I am currently fluent in English and Portuguese. The reason I want to learn German is because there is a new foreign exchange student in my school from Germany and I think it would be nice if I made an effort to learn her language because she learned mine!

I am interested in Portuguese Folklore Dancing. One of my favorite things to do is swim, but I also really love to cook. I pick up languages fairly quickly and I love school with a big passion.

Hi there! My name is Jens, I'm 22 and a student in Canada.

I've got a pretty wide variety of interests actually! I love anything to do with culture and language. My degree is in International Relations, so I get to take a lot of History and Political Science, which are also interests of mine. On the other hand I also love music and film, particularly (you guessed it), foreign films. Having grown up in the Rocky Mountains I've also always been really into hiking, and I go snowboarding and x-country skiing every chance I get. Anyway, right now I'm trying to maintain and improve my German and French, and learn some Dutch and Spanish when I have the time.

I was born in Toronto, but I've lived in Osaka, Japan and London, England. I was an ESL teacher in Japan and I loved my students!   I'm a friendly and laid-back. I work in Public Relations and I'n close with my fam, especially me three sisters. I friendly, I love talking to new people and I think I'm good at helping them with their English.   

  I like food, biking, reading, art and drinking fancy coffee. I'm curious and I try lots of things. New ideas, new things to do, see or talk about keep me be happy and interested in my life.  I've had different jobs and heaps of different experiences.    Here are some of my favourite things:     Shows: HBO. Game of Thrones runs my life.   Books: The Bad Girl by Mario Vargas Llosa, history books that no one wants to talk about   Music: Mostly hipster music like Arcade Fire, Beach House, Bowie, The Cool Kids, Roots + a Gregorian chant here and there   Food: I'll try anything once.   Movies: Stray Dog (or anything by Akira Kurosawa), There Will Be Blood, crap action movies like Iron Man 2.
