Writing chinese characters on MS winXP

Hi!

I'm using the chinese (simplified) keyboard settings on MS WinXP and I´m having trouble selecting the right character when I need to write a message.

Since there are lots of characters with similar pinyin, sometimes I´m forced to write the wrong one!

How do you cope with that?

actually ,there is not a tone selection, which tool do you use ? souhu?

I just use the Windows language selection (CH).
